FEE INCREASE JULY 2015
We will be having the fee increase in 2 stages to cater to the Governments regulations on extra staff/qualifications.
The week commencing 6th July 2015 the 1st stage increase will occur.

CAR PARK
Just a friendly reminder that our carpark is for use only on the days your child attends.
Please use the car park for drop off and pick up times of your child attending Hunny Pots.
Due to the cameras, we have noticed many families are picking up their school age child (parking in the carpark) and then returning a few hours later to pick up their child from Hunny Pots (parking in the car park) – whilst we would love to provide this service, it is not practical as it is taking up valuable car spaces for families who are picking up their child from Hunny Pots at this time.
You are welcome to park in our carpark and drop off/collect your school age child whilst drop off/collecting your Hunny Pots child.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
STAFF NEWS
Miss Allison is on annual leave from 27th April and returns 11th May.
Miss Kayley is on annual leave from 27th April and returns 25th May.
Miss Dannielle’s last day will be Monday 11th May 2015.
Miss Dannielle will complete her 12 month contract achieving her Certificate three in Children’s services.
We will keep you updated on our new trainee.
MUNCH AND MOVE
Through the Munch and Move program we implement healthy eating and fundamental movement skills daily.
Please read our daily room programs and day books for more information.
STUDENTS
You will see a few new faces around the place as we have a few students at Hunny Pots.
We believe in providing placements for students wanting a career in child care.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to nuture future educators.
EVENTS
Mind your Manners show – Wednesday 6th May at 10am. $7.50 will be charged to your invoice for children attending Wednesdays in Tiggers and Poohs Corner.
Mother’s Day Morning Tea (BIGGEST MORNING TEA) – Thursday 7th May 9.30AM – 10.30AM
We will be combining this event and the WORLD’S BIGGEST MORNING TEA to raise funds in support of the Cancer Council!
Come along to participate in outside play activities (weather permitting) and enjoy a yummy morning tea. A gold coin donation will be appreciated for this worthwhile cause! A new RSVP list will go up soon – please RSVP for catering reasons. Thank you.
Coffee and Portfolio afternoon – Child Care week 22-26th June 2015 4pm-5pm. Come along to have a cuppa and look through your child’s portfolio. Staff will be maintaining ratios with the children. All portfolios will be in Poohs Corner to view with a hot drink (no children near hot drinks)
SCHOOL READINESS FOR FAMILIES – MONDAY 27th JULY 7pm @ Hunny Pots ELC.
This year we will be providing a School readiness Seminar with a guest speaker Danielle Mantakoul from EC professionals.
Danielle has come to our centre in previous years to discuss behaviour management strategies and school readiness.
Her seminars have always been very informative and very entertaining!
Hunny Pots will be funding the cost of Danielle’s visit.
We invite all Tiggers and Pooh’s Corner families to come along.
